Questions parents ask
What is Mudly?
Mudly is a spelling game for children aged about 4 to 10. A parent adds the words their child is learning — for example this week’s spelling list from school — and Mudly turns each word into a picture sticker the child earns by spelling it. Every word they learn joins their own little world of floating islands.
How does Mudly help my child learn to spell?
Each new word is shown with its picture and said aloud by Mudly. Your child then builds it letter by letter, with gentle hints when they need them. Words come back for practice over the following days until your child can spell them from memory, and a “spell it from memory” mode works like a spelling test.
What age is Mudly for?
Children from about 4 to 10 — from first words like “cat” to longer school spelling lists. A parent sets it up; children just tap and play.
Is Mudly free?
Yes. You can play a quick game straight away with no sign-up, and the Free plan includes up to 10 of your own words. Mudly Plus is ₹399 a month with a 5-day free trial, or as little as ₹199 a month when a class joins together.
Can a whole class use Mudly together?
Yes. A teacher or parent shares one class link in the class WhatsApp group. For 5 days, the more families join, the lower the monthly price for everyone — from ₹399 down to ₹199 — and the price never goes up after that.
Is Mudly safe for children?
Mudly has no ads, no chat and no way to contact other children. Only a parent can sign up, we ask nothing about your child except a first name or nickname, and parents can download or delete everything at any time.
What devices does Mudly work on?
Any phone, tablet or computer with a modern web browser — Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac or Chromebook. Open mudly.fun and add it to your home screen; there is nothing to install.
Can I add words from my child’s school, including Indian words?
Yes. Type in any English words your child is learning — including words like roti, rangoli or rickshaw — and Mudly makes a sticker and a voice for each everyday word. It even checks your spelling first, so a typo is never taught.
